Directions/Parking
From the West: Take I-88E to exit 11 (Unadilla/Franklin). Turn right onto Route 357 east and travel into the village of Franklin. The Museum will be on the right.
From the East: Take I-88W to exit 15 (Oneonta). Turn left off ramp and turn right onto NY-28S at second light. Take the first exit onto Route 357W from the traffic circle. Travel approximately 6 miles into the village of Franklin. The Museum will be on your left.
From the South: Take 17W/I-86W to exit 94 (Roscoe). Take 206 through Downsville to Walton. Then take 21N to Franklin. Turn right onto 357. The Museum will be approximately 1 mile on the right.
From the North: Take 8 south from Utica to Sidney. Take I-88E to exit 11 (Unadilla/Franklin). Turn right on Route 357 east and travel into the village of Franklin. The Museum will be on the right.
Open the last Sunday of the month from 1:00-4:00pm or by appointment.

The Franklin Railroad and Community Museum is located at 572 Main Street, Franklin, NY. We are 50 miles east of Binghamton, 10 miles west of Oneonta and 35 miles southwest of Cooperstown. The museum and barn are both handicap accessible with an ADA ramp and a bathroom.
